October 4, 2007 (FinancialWire) Naspers Ltd. (OTC: NPSNY) will make a
public tender offer to acquire up to 100% of leading Warsaw-listed
Polish internet company Gadu Gadu S.A.. The current majority
shareholder has irrevocably committed to tender its 55% shareholding in
the public tender offer.
Gadu Gadu is Poland's leading Instant Messenger. The company has over
six million unique users with a 43% share of the Polish IM market. The
company also operates one of the leading social community portals in
the country, mojageneracja.pl, with approximately 1,6 million unique
users.
In terms of the public tender, assuming 100% acceptance in the offer,
the total investment consideration will be approximately $155 million.

This server appliance uses CentOS as operating system. As GUI interface it uses BlueQuartz, which is based on the open sourced RaQ550 Sausalito architecture from Sun Cobalt.
Sites, users, mailing lists and settings can directly be imported with the built in CMU from any Cobalt RaQ. So this is an inexpensive way to trade the aging Cobalt RaQ’s against much more modern hard- and software, while retaining the well known functionality and GUI interface.
A CentOS + BlueQuartz Server Appliance can do everything a RaQ550 and it does it much faster. A CentOS + BlueQuartz Server Appliance can do all including Frontpage. We do not have Chilisoft ASP at this moment ) - The serial ATA hardisks have a throughput of approximately 50 MBit/seconds and even the basic model with a 2.8GHz CPU outperforms a RaQ550 by several magnitudes.
